Johnny Depp in 21 Jump Street

Last night I went over to Mimi's because she needed a ride to the train station at 3 A.M, but to kill time we watched a bunch of episodes from the TV series that gave Johnny Depp his frist big break back in the 80's. I believe that he only stayed on for a few seasons and right when it got really big he decided to leave and the series found a replacement. It still wasn't the same wihtout him.

Mark Ryden- Heaven

These are Ryden's new series of paintings called the Snow Yak Show. I can't stop looking at them they just feed my imagination and make me crave for more.

Mark Ryden- Fun Girl

Mark Ryden-Abominable

Mark Ryden-Grotto of The Old Mass

I love this painting because it reminds me of stories like Joan of Arc, Moses and The 10 Commandments, stories where God visits someone to give them their lifes mission to fulfill. Instead, this little girl is visited by Honest Abe. I visualize him giving her a mission or gold nuggets of wisdom to change the future and she becomes the first woman president or the next Susan B. Anthony.
